Privacy notice

Anonymous by design

You can browse, create, publish, and vote without creating an account or giving us your name. A display name is optional and appears publicly if you provide one.

Voting needs a small memory

Publishing, voting, and reporting use a random, signed browser cookie that expires after 12 months. The database stores a keyed hash, not the cookie value. It is not a public profile. Clearing browser data or changing devices creates a different identity; anonymous access cannot reliably be recovered after it is lost.

Abuse prevention

Short-lived rate-limit counters use keyed hashes of browser identifiers and IP addresses. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the application database or request logs. Counters expire within a day and expired counters are deleted during subsequent activity. Reports and moderation records are kept to help staff review abuse. Please do not include personal information in a report.

Staff sign-in

Only moderators sign in. Replit provides authentication; the studio stores their account ID, email, name, profile image URL, and a server-side session. Moderator actions are recorded in an audit history. Signing out ends the session.

What becomes public

Published titles, optional display names and descriptions, cover designs, vote totals, and publication dates are visible to visitors. Your private submission token is not shown publicly.

Local drafts

The editor saves an in-progress draft in this browser so you can come back to it. Drafts are not published until you choose to publish. Clearing browser storage removes the local draft.

Your choices

You may stop voting at any time by removing your vote. Use your private submission link to withdraw a published cover. Withdrawal hides it from all public pages; records may remain for moderation and service integrity. Protect that link as you would a password.
